2007
No Claims Bonus Helps Slash Prices
A new initiative launched by Carole Nash means bikers can transfer any motorcycling no-claims bonus they have built up to a car insurance policy – and claim a discount of up to 60 per cent. This means that with a maximum no claims bonus – claims-free riding of five years or more – a £700 car premium would be slashed to just £280.

UK’s Favourite Motorcycle Insurance Broker
An independent survey of over 8,600 motorcyclists carried out by RiDE magazine confirms Carole Nash remains the UK’s favourite motorcycle insurance broker. It is the fourth time in the previous five RiDE surveys that the company has emerged as the bikers’ choice.
Groupama Acquire Carole Nash
Carole Nash Insurance Consultants is acquired by Groupama UK, one of the UK’s leading insurers. Management at Carole Nash Insurance Consultants reassured bikers that it is business as usual.
Dealer of the Year
Knotts Motorcycles beats 3,000 dealers to take the inaugural Carole Nash Dealer of the Year Award. The Stratford-based dealer wins a total of £2,800 to spend on commercial insurance.
A Great Year
The company announces another strong performance with total revenues breaking through the £70m barrier for the 2004-2005 financial year.

Insurance Times names Carole Nash as one of the UK’s top 30 brokers.
Reap Rewards
Staff numbers near 400 whilst publication of audited accounts for the year-ended October 31 2004 sees revenues rising from £54 to £70m as diversification continues to reap rewards.

OMNI Launch
OMNI, an innovation that allows any combination of motorcycle, car or home to be insured on a single policy, is launched.
Carole Enters The Car Market
The company launches its first significant drive into the mainstream car market with a cross-marketing campaign, mainly targeting existing customer with a range of added-value policies. By Spring 2005, car policies account for 10% of customer base. Top 40 Insurance Times names Carole Nash as one of the UK’s Top 40 brokers.
AA’s Acquired
The AA’s UK motorcycle business is acquired and, alongside organic growth, breaks the company through the 230,000 policyholder barrier.
Fastrack top 100
The company is top of the Sunday Times/Fastrack top 100 most profitable companies.
Winning Women Award
Carole Nash is awarded the Winning Women Business trophy.

Training Centre Opened
A £500,000, state-of-the-art, dedicated Training Centre is opened close to the company’s Altrincham HQ. The move is designed to ensure service standards are maintained and enhanced during the company’s rapid growth.
Service & Repair Centre Opened
Following a £240,000 investment Carole Nash opens its own Service & Repair Centre, the flagship of a new national network of approved repairers. Customer service standards rise with policyholders enjoying FREE collection, delivery and valet of their bikes, a guarantee that quotations would be provided within 48 hours and faster turnaround of repairs and claims settlement. Analysis also showed repair costs being reduced by 13% since the network’s launch, helping minimise premiums.

Carole Nash tops the RiDER POWER poll again.
2001
CN Secure
Alarmed at rising theft rates and the knock-on effect to bikers’ premiums, CN Secure is launched. Offering heavily discounted motorcycle security providing savings on list prices of up to 27% fitted FREE by specialist technicians at bikers’ homes or workplaces. It becomes the UK’s largest independent motorcycle security fitter.

Ronan Keating Opens Its Dublin office
The company enters the Irish market as Ronan Keating opens its Dublin office. John Wheeler, Chair of the Irish Motorcycle Action Group describes it as “the best thing to happen to Irish motorcycling in 25 years”. Carole Nash is now market leader in Ireland.

Leaders In Classic Car Market
The expertise and added-value model employed in the classic motorcycle sector is applied to the classic car market. The company promptly emerges as one of the leading providers of classic car insurance in the UK.

Carole Nash Securing Leadership
A major drive into the modern motorcycle market is launched supported by a highly targeted marketing campaign. It swiftly leads to Carole Nash securing leadership of the entire UK motorcycle insurance market.

Carole Nash Gains Leadership With 30,000 policyholders
Carole Nash Insurance Consultants gains leadership of the classic and vintage motorcycle sector.
1991
Off To A Flying Start
Carole Nash appears on Granada’s Flying Start programme and is told by its panel of business experts that whilst having a good business she will never be one of the “big boys”.
1985
In The Beginning
Carole Nash founds the company with a £2,500 redundancy cheque at her home in the Manchester suburb of Timperley. Turnover in its first month hit £834 – today monthly sales are nearly £6m.
